The Role
We are hiring a senior associate with 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience to lead complex matters from intake through verdict. You will first-chair trials, drive case strategy, mentor the bench, and shape how the firm prepares and tries cases.
What You’ll Do
- First-chair trials and high-stakes arbitrations.
- Lead all types of complex personal injury matters end-to-end.
- Direct case strategy, expert development, and settlement positioning.
- Mentor junior and mid-level associates; lead case rounds and trial prep sessions.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience with demonstrated trial work.
- Significant first-chair and active second-chair trial experience.
- Track record of verdicts, settlements, and case outcomes you can speak to.
- Leadership presence — with clients, with juries, and with the team behind you.
- Licensed in Illinois (Indiana admission preferred but not required).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $100,000 base + percent of fees generated
- Performance bonus: Structured around case outcomes and originations — meaningful upside, not a black box.
- Health, dental, vision: 90-day waiting period.
- 401(k) after 6 months – Safe Harbor contribution.
