In 1998, after five years defending insurance companies and employers, Joseph decided he would rather champion the rights of the injured rather than seek to limit them. In 1998 he joined his brother Andrew Leonard in developing and promoting Employee Legal Services, Ltd., into a prominent worker’s compensation/Personal Injury plaintiff’s firm that Andrew had started with the assistance and vision of their late father Dr. Eugene Thomas Leonard III.

Andrew P. Leonard is a Chicago area native and the founder of Leonard Law Group, LLC, Andrew concentrates his practice on the representation of those injured while working throughout the state of Illinois. He practices before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Circuit Courts, and the Appellate and Supreme Courts.

Attorney Matthew J. Leonard is an owner and equity partner of Leonard Law Group. Matthew concentrates his practice in the handling of a few hand-selected Personal Injury cases and the oversight of the Personal Injury department of Leonard Law Group. Matthew was recognized as an Illinois Rising Star in 2013 and 2014 and has been nominated an Illinois Super Lawyer annually since 2015.

Joseph P. Brancky is a Chicago-area native. He obtained his BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003, and his Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2007. Joe has practiced entirely in workers’ compensation since that time. Prior to joining Leonard Law Group, he represented employers throughout Illinois, and has been a frequent presenter at seminars.

Jeff has worked for close to 36 years as a civil litigator. From the beginning of his career, the bulk of his efforts have been devoted to representing people that have been injured due to negligence or other misconduct. During that time, Jeff has represented plaintiffs in everything from a product liability case against a leading auto manufacturer to the death of victims due to Nursing Home neglect or medical malpractice.
