Education And Early Experience
Matt was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from DePauw University in 2014. Matt received his Juris Doctor in 2018 from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, IN. During his time in law school, Matt worked as a Judicial Extern for United States Magistrate Judge Tim A. Baker at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Matt also worked as a research assistant to Professor Jessica M. Eaglin.
Litigation Experience
Prior to joining Leonard Law Group, Matt focused his practice in corporate litigation, including shareholder rights and consumer class action law, as well as criminal law. Matt has practiced extensively in both federal and state courts around the country.
Now, Matt focuses his practice on representing clients in a wide variety of cases, with a focus in family and criminal matters, advising and counseling clients throughout the pendency of their cases to ensure the best possible outcomes.
When Matt isn't zealously representing clients, you can typically find him spending time with his hyper yellow labrador retriever, Charlie, or playing Neil Young riffs on the electric guitar.
