Referrals
If your practice does not encompass the handling of workers compensation cases, Leonard Law Group welcomes your referrals. We currently accept referrals from four Illinois firms who do not practice workers compensation law. Our referring lawyer workers compensation retainer is structured as follows: If the case is settled, the permanent partial disability, wage differential or permanent total disability is split 50/50. Any disputed TTD benefits, medical benefits or penalties included in the settlement are not. If the case is tried, the permanent partial disability, wage differential or permanent total disability benefits are split 66-2/3% / 33-1/3%. Any disputed TTD benefits, medical benefits or penalties included in the trial award are not. Any TTD or PPD advances made during the referral representation are also not split. Annually, since 1996, Leonard Law Group has settled approximately 95% of our workers compensation cases.
